Gitlitz Cottage: September 2007

September 6, 2007 -- The hurricane fabric is temporarily installed on the windows. It is heavy material similar to trampoline material.

September 6, 2007 -- Although the hurricane fabric is difficult to see through from the outside, it is not difficult to see through if you are on the inside. It is in place on the windows and doors in this photo.

September 6, 2007 -- The tub is in place in the master bath room. The plumbing is basically finished except for the kitchen.

September 6, 2007 -- The master shower plumbing is nearly complete. The shower will have a glass door installed soon.

September 6, 2007 -- The master lavatory is installed in the granite counter top.

September 6, 2007 -- The guest bath fixtures are in place and plumbed.

September 6, 2007 -- The hall book case has adjustable shelves installed.

September 12, 2007 -- The front porch finish has been applied.

September 12, 2007 -- The rear deck is screened. The floor has finish applied to it. Fans and lights will be installed on the back porch soon.

September 26, 2007 -- The front yard is being landscaped to keep water away from the front steps. You can see the catch basin right on the shadow line in front of the steps.

September 27, 2007 -- The soapstone mantle and hearth have been installed. The yellow pipe is for gas logs.

September 27, 2007 -- The soapstone counter tops have been installed. A cook top goes in the opening on the far right. An undercounter refrigerator goes to the right of the sink and a dishwasher to the left.
