Keller Residence: August 2007

August 1, 2007 -- Brick tile is installed in the dog entrance closet.

August 1, 2007 -- The mud room and laundry room both have the brick tile. It is down, but not grouted yet.

August 1, 2007 -- The upstairs wood floor is being installed. The Brays room is off to the left of the hallway.

August 1, 2007 -- The public porch is painted and trimmed. The ceiling needs to be painted.

August 1, 2007 -- The lounge upstairs now has wide wood flooring installed. Most of the house wood floor is completed.

August 3, 2007 -- The Brays room has wide pine flooring installed. The house wood flooring is about finished.

August 3, 2007 -- The master shower is tiled. It will be grouted in the next day or two. The ceiling of the shower remains to be tiled.

August 3, 2007 -- The ceiling of the garage is painted. In this photo, the paint is still wet.

August 7, 2007 -- The ceilings are painted now. Many of the walls are also painted. This is the kitchen.

August 7, 2007 -- The wide pine flooring is being face nailed. If you look closely you can see a row of nails along the bottom of the photo.

August 7, 2007 -- The mud room brick tiles are grouted. They are dirty now, so they don't look as good as they will.

August 7, 2007 -- The shower in the garage bathroom has been tiled.

August 7, 2007 -- The upstairs apartment in the garage has been painted. The floor is installed. Electrical 'trim out' and air conditioning 'turn on' will happen soon.

August 9, 2007 -- The showers in the house are tiled. They still need grout. The heat index has been very high (115) making it difficult to work.

August 9, 2007 -- This is another shower. You can see spacers between the tile to hold it in place while the adhesive sets.

August 9, 2007 -- This wall of the study will have a built in installed this afternoon.

August 9, 2007 -- The paint is finished in the garage upstairs. The electrical trim out will begin soon and then the air conditioner will be turned on.

August 14, 2007 -- The built in book case is now in the study. The wall will be paneled.

August 14, 2007 -- The electrical is wired for permanent power. The breaker boxes are completed and closed. Outlets and switches are installed.

August 14, 2007 -- Air conditioner condensing units will be installed in the next day or two. Notice the meter base and disconnects are installed.

August 20, 2007 -- The window trim looks very nice here in the garage.

August 20, 2007 -- The trim around the garage doors is pressure treated wood.

August 20, 2007 -- Doors are being hung today. This is the garage apartment. The small door is for the pantry just to its right.

August 22, 2007 -- The garage steps have been installed. They will be finished in the next few days.

August 22, 2007 -- The garage stairway looks very nice from upstairs. Of course, there will be railings installed soon.

August 22, 2007 -- The rear deck is being covered with ipe. It will have a "picture frame" around the outside.

August 22, 2007 -- The main downstairs air conditioner condensing unit has a pad now. The unit will be installed within the next several days.

August 23, 2007 -- The ipe deck is being installed. We had a rain last night so the deck has water on it this morning.

August 23, 2007 -- Interior trim continues in the garage apartment. Baseboard is now being installed.

August 23, 2007 -- The kitchen cabinets are in and being installed. The gray cabinets will be an island.

August 23, 2007 -- A refrigerator will go where the green ladder is. The bare walls on the left are in the Brays room. They will have wood on them. The island is in the foreground.

August 23, 2007 -- The pantry cabinets are being installed. The top cabinets have glass doors and ends (not visible in photo).

August 23, 2007 -- The tile in the master shower floor is unique. It looks like stone. The floor is not grouted yet.

August 23, 2007 -- The interior doors have arrived. They are paneled shaker style doors.

August 28, 2007 -- The ceiling is being installed in the Brays Room. It is wood T & G.

August 28, 2007 -- Most of the cabinets are installed. This is the master bathroom vanity.

August 31, 2007 -- The Brays room ceiling is complete. The last of it has not been primed yet.

August 31, 2007 -- The garage shower has tile on the ceiling now. Cabinets should be installed in the garage kitchen in the next day or two.
