January 9, 2008 -- The knotty pine wall covering matches the white pine flooring nicely.

January 9, 2008 -- The breezeway to the garage is having a handrail installed on it.

January 10, 2008 -- The ipe (pronounced e-pay) decks have been finished. They look very nice. The glare from the sun washes out the color a bit in this photo.

January 10, 2008 -- The kitchen now has beams on the ceiling. They will be finished with crackle paint to simulate the look of old beams. There is also a beam on the close wall that is out of the camera range.

January 10, 2008 -- The scaffold is gone from the Brays room. In the next few days, the mantle will be started. The A/V cabinet on the right has yellow masking tape around it.

January 23, 2008 -- A built-in in the mud room has a dog bed in the bottom, two drawers and boot storage bins in the top.

January 23, 2008 -- The back deck has a set of steps now. The treads are made of ipe like the deck.

January 23, 2008 -- The porches have railings and framing to hold screen. They will be painted soon.

January 30, 2008 -- The garage apartment has the floors finished. Blue masking tape is still on the baseboards. Paper is down to protect the floors.

January 30, 2008 -- The window seat is stained and finished. It is inside the mud room near the door to the garage.

January 30, 2008 -- The master bedroom is close to finished. Lamps are installed. The floor is finished.
