Schuld Residence: December 2007

December 4, 2007 -- Brick pavers are being laid in the drive though area in a herring bone pattern. they will be grouted in a day or two.

December 5, 2007 -- The breezeway brick has been laid. It is being grouted today. Soon brick will be laid in front of the garage doors to the side stairway.

December 5, 2007 -- The ground is being prepared for a concrete parking pad. Bricks from the breezeway will extend to the brick steps just to the right of the garage door.

December 7, 2007 -- The brick work is finished...for now. Soon the parking area will be paved and brick borders will be laid around it. The circle drive in the front will also have a brick border.

December 10, 2007 -- The parking area near the single car garage is formed and ready to pour. It will have a brick border around it. The drive through is on the right edge of the photo.

December 11, 2007 -- The circle drive is being formed for concrete. It will also have brick work on it.

December 12, 2007 -- The first half of the rear parking area is being poured today. Tomorrow the remainder (on the left in the photo) will be poured.

December 13, 2007 -- Forms are up to pour a sidewalk from the front door to the circle driveway. It is planned to be poured tomorrow.

December 13, 2007 -- Forms are also up to pour a short drive from the garage drive through to the circle driveway. This will also be poured tomorrow.

December 13, 2007 -- The second half of the rear parking area is being poured today. The rear parking area will have a brick border.

December 13, 2007 -- The brick border on the first half which was poured yesterday is in place. It will be grouted soon.

December 14, 2007 -- A brick border has been laid around the entire rear parking area.

December 14, 2007 -- This is the view from the garage drive through. The circle will be poured in the next day or two.

December 14, 2007 -- The circle center foundation is being dug. It will have a walk and flag pole.

December 17, 2007 -- The brick sidewalk is being laid. A planter will be at the foot of the steps on either side. The walk will be grouted tomorrow.

December 17, 2007 -- The foundation for brickwork in the center was poured last Friday.

December 18, 2007 -- It got cold last night here in coastal South Carolina. The fields and roofs are covered with frost.

December 18, 2007 -- The brick walk way is complete. The two areas off the walks are for planters. The bricks will be grouted soon.

December 18, 2007 -- Half of the circle drive has been poured. A row of brick will be laid in the gap that is formed.

December 19, 2007 -- The circular driveway has been poured. It has a brick border inside and out. A flag pole will be installed in the center.

December 19, 2007 -- The driveway was built this afternoon. It will have landscaping planted around it.

December 19, 2007 -- The brick border from the drive to the garage joins the border of the circle here. The brick to the right goes to the inside of the circle.

December 31, 2007 -- The center of the driveway is nearly finished. The enclosed areas are flower boxes. The stack of bricks is on what will be the walkway.
