July 1, 2008 -- The garage apron will be poured tomorrow if all goes well. The surface will be oyster shell with a brick border.


July 1, 2008 -- The rear (drive side) steps also get an oyster shell pad with a brick border.


July 3, 2008 -- The garage parking apron is being poured. It will have an oyster shell finish. The white particles on the finish are crushed oyster shells.


July 8, 2008 -- At the foot of the rear (drive side) steps, the oyster shell concrete has a brick border that was laid today.


July 8, 2008 -- The air conditioner condensing units now have a concrete pad. The raised pad to the right is for a future generator. A fence will be built in a few days to hide this equipment.


July 8, 2008 -- The parking apron is finished and a brick border is being laid. It will match the one at the rear steps.


July 10, 2008 -- A service yard fence is being built to screen the air conditioning condensing units and the future generator. A similar one (but shorter) will be built off the garage to screen the propane tank.


July 11, 2008 -- The parking apron is finished. It is made of oyster shell concrete with a brick border. Note the service yard fence at the end of the garage. It screens the propane tank.


July 11, 2008 -- Brick are being cut for the column caps. They will be laid today, weather permitting.


July 11, 2008 -- The outdoor kitchen area has a brick step down into the front yard.


July 11, 2008 -- The outdoor kitchen columns now have brick caps on them. The smoker is on the left edge of the photo.


July 22, 2008 -- The service yard fences are now painted Charleston green to match the hog fencing. The hog fencing in the photo looks lighter because it has sand splashed on it from the rain.
