June 6, 2008 -- The site fencing is now up. This is the view as you approach the site.

June 6, 2008 -- The fencing protects the canopy of oaks that line Brays Island Drive.

June 6, 2008 -- The job site is completely enclosed with fencing to ensure that everything is contained within the site.

June 21, 2008 -- Ground was broken today. Willis, a principle of Ponds & Sons, is holding the latest plans. We are all excited about getting started.

June 25, 2008 -- People are coming from everywhere to watch the progress. This airship was cruising overhead today.

June 25, 2008 -- Batter boards are up and the house is laid out on the ground. The floor level will be the height of the boards around the house.

June 25, 2008 -- Workers are checking to make sure everything is level. Notice the worker on the right using a transom.
