McNeil Log Cabin: January 2008

January 16, 2008 -- The roof and upstairs walls have spray in open cell insulation.

January 16, 2008 -- The insulation will keep the attic temperature very close to the inside temperature. Here you can see one of the air conditioning ducts going into a dormer.

January 16, 2008 -- Now that the trees have lost their leaves, you can clearly see the lake off the back porch.

January 21, 2008 -- Sheet rock is being installed upstairs. The space past the knee walls will be for storage.

January 23, 2008 -- Sound insulation has been installed. It is around the bathrooms and master bedroom. Sheet rock is being installed this week.

January 24, 2008 -- Sheet rock is being hung. Soon, it will be finished and floors will begin.

January 31, 2008 -- All of the sheet rock is hung. Finishing has begun. The sheet rock work should be completed by early to mid next week.
