July 2, 2007 -- The final exterior trim is being installed. Roofers lack only a little until they are finished.


July 2, 2007 -- A footer is going to be poured today for the rear patio that will overlook the marsh.


July 5, 2007 -- Finally, the roofing is complete. Siding is nearly done. Exterior trim is done. One porch ceiling remains.


July 5, 2007 -- Concrete was poured for the front steps. Work will begin on it soon.


July 5, 2007 -- The back deck work has begun. The footer was poured a few days ago. The brick piers are being built. Framing will start in a few days.


July 5, 2007 -- Tomorrow sheet rock begins. The garage sheetrock will be done first. It will take a week or two to get all of the sheet rock hung.


July 5, 2007 -- The floor of the garage apartment has spray in foam insulation.


July 6, 2007 -- The garage siding is finished. There are a few places where a small amount of trim needs to be added.


July 6, 2007 -- The house siding is finished. The last thing was the porch gable. Today, sheet rock should begin. The porch roof is about half done. The brick mantle will be done next week.


July 6, 2007 -- Sheet rock started this morning. The garage upstairs is proceeding nicely.


July 6, 2007 -- Work has begun on the hearth on the public porch.


July 9, 2007 -- Two days and some 500 sheets of sheet rock later, the house has a totally new look. This is the mud room. The door on the right goes into the laundry room.


July 9, 2007 -- This is the downstairs hallway. At the far end is the master suite. The large opening on the right is the front foyer. The wooden opening on the left goes to the Brays room.

July 9, 2007 -- This is the master suite from the private porch. The doorway close to the window goes to the master bath room. The black cable on the floor is a bundle of audio/video wires.


July 9, 2007 -- This is the attic view of the side stairway. It lacks sheet rock this morning. The white walls have open cell spray in foam insulation. The gray column is the chimney.


July 12, 2007 -- The exterior trim is being painted. It should be done in a short time.


July 12, 2007 -- The public porch ceiling is finished. It is PVC beadboard. The openings are for lights.


July 12, 2007 -- Brick work is continuing on the rear patio. It should be finished in the next few days.


July 12, 2007 -- The breezeway roof and beams are trimmed. The columns will be painted.


July 12, 2007 -- A set of brick steps will be built where the ground is dug out. Another set will be built on the other side of the walk beside the garage.

July 13, 2007 -- The piers for the rear deck are finished. The far end will have wooden steps down.

July 13, 2007 -- A hidden stair case is installed in the garage apartment.


July 13, 2007 -- A trim board is installed under the thresholds of the porch doors. It is beveled nicely.


July 13, 2007 -- The porch columns are being painted. The masking tape was still in place when the photo was taken.


July 16, 2007 -- The front steps are taking shape nicely.


July 18, 2007 -- The master suite drywall is being finished. The door goes to the private porch.


July 18, 2007 -- The study will have wood paneling. The wall on the right separates the laundry room and study. It has soundproofing insulation in it.


July 18, 2007 -- The Brays room fireplace is visible from the location of the stove in the kitchen. The recess to the right of the chimney is for a built in cabinet.


July 18, 2007 -- The steps off the connector are built next to the garage.


July 18, 2007 -- The upstairs bathrooms will have wainscot of beadboard. It will go from the blocking 2x4 down.


July 18, 2007 -- The master suite is painted on the outside. The private porch is barely visible on the right edge of the photo.


July 20, 2007 -- The back deck is framed. It will have ipe decking just as the public and private porches do.

July 20, 2007 -- The water tank and control box as well as water filter system will go under the stairway in the garage. It also has a place for a small workbench.


July 21, 2007 -- The house is looking good. It has the final color paint on it. The brick steps are finished on the front.


July 21, 2007 -- Here are the brick steps at the front door. The front door frame is not painted yet.

July 21, 2007 -- Painters are hard at work on the garage. They are planning to work Saturday also.


July 23, 2007 -- The garage has paint on the front and left side. It will be completely painted in a few days.


July 23, 2007 -- The fronts of the house and garage have final paint and trim paint. The front door frame is not painted yet.


July 24, 2007 -- The back of the garage is painted and trimmed. The east side remains to be painted.


July 24, 2007 -- The public porch fireplace now has a hearth. The porch will be screened in the next few weeks.


July 27, 2007 -- Keller's house is starting to look finished on the outside. Soon painting will begin on the inside.


July 27, 2007 -- Garage doors are ordered. Inside the garage the sheet rock is finished and almost ready for paint.


July 27, 2007 -- The gable end of the public porch and the rear of the house need paint. The painters were rained out yesterday.


July 27, 2007 -- The public porch is on the right looking along the rear of the house. The partially build deck is on the left side. This side of the house will be painted today (weather permitting).


July 30, 2007 -- The back of the house is masked and painted. The private porch (on the left) still needs paint.


July 30, 2007 -- The north end of the house is now completely painted. The public porch is not painted yet. The hearth appears just to the left of the chimney.


July 31, 2007 -- The upstairs bathrooms have wainscot on the walls.


July 31, 2007 -- The tubs have backer board in place for tile.


July 31, 2007 -- The mud room has brick pavers., They are installed, but not grouted yet.


July 31, 2007 -- The garage apartment wood floor is being installed. It is wide pine flooring.


July 31, 2007 -- The public porch trim is painted. The siding will be painted in the next day or two.
