Schuld Residence: February 2007

February 1, 2007 -- Siding continues and roofing begins.

February 5, 2007 -- The front door has been installed.

February 5, 2007 -- The chimney is near the roof.

February 6, 2007 -- The roof is being put on the house.

February 6, 2007 -- The chimney is nearly through the roof.

February 6, 2007 -- Another gable end is finished. With the exception of the front porch, the front of the house is sided and has exterior trim.

February 8, 2007 -- The chimney is nearing the top.

February 9, 2007 -- Inside, the chimney is complete. It does not have the mantle or hearth installed yet.

February 9, 2007 -- The north side of the home is being roofed and sided.

February 9, 2007 -- The single car garage and porte-cochere have shingles on the roof. The drive through trim has been started.

February 9, 2007 -- Final touches are being put on the front porch. Siding and trim will begin very soon.

February 15, 2007 -- A view from the double car garage to the single car garage through the porte-cochere. The ceiling is bead board. Siding needs to be completed on the garage wall.

February 15, 2007 -- A view of the house. A good bit of the roofing is done. The exterior trim is also about finished on the front.

February 16, 2007 -- The south east corner of the house now has exterior trim, siding and shingles. Painting will begin in a few days.

February 19, 2007 -- The brick work around the rear porch has begun. Now the exterior trim at the back porch can proceed.

February 19, 2007 -- View of newly bricked back porch area. The slab will have brick steps before long. A hot tub will be placed on the slab.

February 19, 2007 -- The cupola is placed on the single car garage.

February 22, 2007 -- The shingles are nearly completed. This is the first of six roof ornaments. The horizontal boards are temporary "toe boards" for the roofers to use. They will be removed in a day or so.

February 26, 2007 -- This is a sample wall with paint. The siding is darker than the trim.

February 27, 2007 -- The windows and doors are being taped on the inside so they can be finished. This will keep them nice and clean.

February 28, 2007 -- Trim work continues. The tower has new trim on it as do the arches on the back porch.
